Darshan first, then the valley

Kashmir Divine starts in Jammu, not Srinagar. Two nights in Katra give you a full window for the Vaishno Devi trek — on foot, by pony or palki, or by helicopter if you prefer — before the long drive into the Kashmir Valley.

From there the week follows the classic circuit: a shikara evening and garden day in Srinagar, a night in Pahalgam for Betaab and Aru, then Sonmarg and Gulmarg as excursions back to the city. It is built for families who want both the shrine and the meadows without splitting the trip into two bookings.

Day 01

Arrival in Jammu – Katra

Overnight · Katra

Arrive at Jammu Airport or Railway Station.
Transfer to Katra, the base town for Vaishno Devi.
Evening at leisure — rest and prepare for the next day’s darshan.
Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 02

Vaishno Devi Darshan

Overnight · Katra

Early-morning trek to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine (pony, palki or helicopter can be arranged).
Seek blessings at the Bhawan and return to Katra.
Rest of the day at leisure after the darshan.
Overnight stay in Katra.

Day 03

Katra – Srinagar

Overnight · Srinagar hotel or houseboat

Drive to Srinagar (approximately 7–8 hours).
Check into the hotel or houseboat on arrival.
Evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 04

Srinagar Local Sightseeing

Overnight · Srinagar

Visit the Mughal Gardens: Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh and Chashme Shahi.
Explore Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic views over the city and lake.
Shopping at Lal Chowk for handicrafts and dry fruits.
Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 05

Pahalgam

Overnight · Pahalgam

Scenic drive to Pahalgam (approximately 4 hours).
En route visit the saffron fields (seasonal) and the Awantipora ruins.
Explore Betaab Valley and Aru Valley.
Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 06

Sonmarg

Overnight · Srinagar

Drive to Sonmarg (approximately 3 hours).
Pony ride toward Thajiwas Glacier.
Riverside stroll along the Sindh River.
Return to Srinagar for overnight stay.

Day 07

Gulmarg

Overnight · Srinagar

Drive to Gulmarg (approximately 2 hours).
Ride the Gulmarg Gondola toward Apharwat Peak (weather permitting).
Meadow walks in summer, or skiing in winter.
Return to Srinagar for overnight stay.

Day 08

Departure

Transfer · Srinagar Airport / Railway Station

Breakfast and check-out.
Visit Hazratbal Shrine, or keep the morning for last-minute shopping.
Transfer to Srinagar Airport / Railway Station for departure.
