Arrival in Leh — acclimatisation

- Arrive in Leh and transfer to the hotel.
- Rest and acclimatise throughout the day.
Leh → Sham → Nubra → Turtuk → Pangong → Hanle → Leh
Eight nights keeps Sham, two Nubra nights with Turtuk, Pangong via Shyok — and then leaves the lake for Hanle instead of returning straight to Leh. Hanle is a long, thin-air drive onto the Changthang. The night sky is the reason. It is not a first-week add-on unless the days are already here.
Day eight is a long return to Leh. Do not book a tight early flight on day nine if weather has already moved the clock.
Town and the western valley before any high pass.
Two valley nights so the Balti village is a full day.
One night on the lake before the eastward turn.
A remote plateau night — weather and access permitting.
